QCC Trip

        What took place yesterday on March 20, 2013 was we went on a trip to QCC. Well on the campus there was a lot to see such as their lab rooms, their work and much more. Compared to high school college is different like their way of studying. Why it was important to visit QCC was to get to know our  options in to choosing a college. What also made it important was the things that were shown to us and the programs that QCC provided. Such as the mechanical program, robotics and much more. Along the tour we meet professors of that college and what they taught and what was taught to the students that went there.From observing what i learn in the robotics room was it isn't just building a robot but the networking to it.
    Prior to this trip this is the first college i have visited. And hope that i keep seeing colleges so i can get to know my options. The college campus i plan to keep on seeing is a least 5 or more. What i expected     to see on the trip meet my expectations. To look at the rooms, meet the professors and look at students work. What i like to see on the next college fair is more information about that college and more info on the programs given in that college.

Adobe Flash learnings

 
            What i learned using adobe flash and creating an animation is it takes time and patience. Throughout my animation many of the tools i used was inserting key frames and etc. What i also learned was the use of symbols and how it is important element in creating an animation. Another thing i learned was to creating an animation you could use motion tween, classic tween and much more. Some of the things i learned was used in my animation. What i learned was to make the animation slower like a text easy to read you have add frames so the client could be able to read.

Why is it important to have a CTE Expo?

      Well  a CTE Expo is an exposition that is taken place to represent the work done to others. A CTE Expo was taken place in information technology high school between the whole school. Four technology programs showed off their work to 9th graders to show what is done within the programs. The four technology programs are web design,video production,cisco and apple.
       What i felt towards the CTE Expo was it was an great experience to show our work to the 9th graders and helping them to decide what program they fit best in. Every program demonstrated a little of what done in it. Like web design we represented a portfolio and our labs within. Yea somewhat the event did meet my expectations cause we were all dressed in business attire. We looked like we were representing a company. But could have been better if the 9th graders would have been more interacted in what was being shown ed. What made it good was teachers,the principal and many others came to see our work and gave some good feedback's. But some feedback's weren't as good you say.What ill do the next time is not be shy and speak up and show my work to the whole school if possible and talk to them in detail of what i did. What i would like to see in the Expo next time around is refreshments cause towards the end of the day all of were tired. The expo couldn't have been better.

Spring Semester 2013

Goal: To have  a good understanding of the softwares

Specific: I know what i want to do in the class Digital Design

Measurable: I will know if when doing a project or either lab i understand what im doing and my         grades are going up 

Attainable: I know if i can pay attention and follow directions.

Realistic: I know its hard to understand how to use different softwares and its tools

Timely: I know i need to stop being absent,be organized and pay attention.

Digital Design

                      As you see here above this are screenshots of lab 10. What i did in lab 10 is use rollover in the 2 images you see above.And the images are clickable to. The clickable images will lead you to my blogger page.How i got to the final product was taking two different pictures and inserting it as rollover image. The application this was used was in  Adobe Dreamwaver CS5. This application is easier then to write the codes.

Project 2

Well as you see above this is my project 2. You can see my home page ,bio and process. How i started off doing this project is drawing a cartoon character that represented me. In case it is baby taz. Once i was done i scan it and used the application Photoshop. In the application i colored it and made the backgrounds. Another application i used was Fireworks. In fireworks what i did was export the png file in firework and worked on it. What i did in fireworks was make the button click able. This is the basic information of the creation of this project. Looking at the project it may seem easy but its not. you need to put a lot effort to make it happen. In photoshop the tools i used in coloring the selected area was the polygonal lasso tool. This was used to select part of the image and color it in. This tool i used it in 3 scanned pictures. Once i was done i cut it out and put it in the background.

Sandy Aftermath

                   Many storms have come and gone leaving a lot of damage within everyone and the things around us. As you see in the pictures above and below many people were affected.Many homes were damaged but they could be replaced. But many innocent people died and a life is a life that can not be replaced. Nothing happened where i lived and i wasn't expecting not to happen.This storm got everyone by surprise that left people without water,food and their loved ones. Many of the people that survived sandy took it as a big shock. 

Many of the areas that were known as beautiful cities are under water. One of the beautiful cities is Atlantic city which is now under water. Many families are now with nothing and they need our help now. If i was in their shoes i would like all the possible help i could get.Like water,food and a home stay in. Sandy aftermath took everyone by surprise many stores were damaged. As you see in the pic above many stores in new york city the food got contaminated that they were left to the garbage. The picture below is sandy aftermath. Sandy didn't just cause floods but houses to burning and not just one house but many.Next time I'll know not to under estimate a storm like SANDY.

Looking at the news many damage was caused like people not being able to go to work. Most of the bridges were closed and trains were shut off. To get anywhere in car gas was needed and everyone was in  need for gas. Big lines were for gas stations. To go anywhere you had to have more then three passengers and if not you would get a ticket. Sandy brought many emotions like happy there was no school, mad that jobs were canceled,sad their homes were gone.

Parts of Year Book

           To the making of a year book there are many parts that have to be done  to make a page in the year book.Many of those parts are known as the Body copy, Eyeline, Theme, Caption, Page Number and many more. What makes a Body Copy an important contribute to the year book is wanting readers to be interested in what their looking at. For example in an magazine it will be an example of a product and the conversion of how the products. Another part of the year book is the captions that are found under the picture taken. What a caption is a brief sentence or two on what the picture is representing. Captions are written based on the 5W's. The them is an another part what the theme  is an idea that ties all the pages together. A double page is a when two pages face together. A page number can sound as it not being important but it is what a page number identifies is the page what number it is.The picture underneath is a picture of a year book. Their are many parts in a yearbook like pictures .The cover is also important representing the whole school year.

As you see my lab above it represents showing an animation  going straight across. In this lab what i used was the foot prints of a dog going across. The elements i used was the darkness of the foot print. As you see the animation the first two foot prints use the time of 5 seconds. And as it moves on you see the difference of color the foot print lightens up and it goes back to its color. These are the elements that i used in this lab.

What was the goal of the poster? 

       

     What I found the goal to all of these 5 posters is to sell the products to the people who are interesting in buying. For example like the poster that is representing sports. The poster by Mathew and Mohamed represent a store selling sport goods and people who want to buy.

What design concepts an principal are incorporated?

       What i have observed and the design Incorporated is a 3D design. By it representing a company the advertisements gets to the readers wanting to know what it is.

     Is their a clean message?

 Most of the posters have a clean message. The posters that have a clean message is the sports ad's. The reason why is because the present pictures about a sport like basketball and football.

  

 What would you suggest to improve this poster? 

        What i would suggest is to place a logo getting to readers. What i mean is a poster is given so the people can read for seconds. If the logo doesn't catch the readers attention they would rather read it. 

Coco Cola

                                    

Layout:

The layout of this advertisement is arranged in no symmetrically way. In this advertisement what you see is the tone of color in the ad. In this ad you see the change in color of the words and graphic elements. What i mean is the words. For example you taste its quality  is different tone then coco cola. The person who designed this advertisement used his white space by the advertisement. This ad doesn't have a lot of words or graphics or less. He used the white space by placing the women drinking coco cola in the middle.

Colors and Graphics

In this ad the use of color and shade was used. All the colors work together with the ad. Since the ad is representing coco cola some words had to be bright red. There was no high contrast between text land    background. Yes the shade of color add the purpose to this advertisement. The message the tone colors are showing us readers is our reason to buy coco cola and to try it's quality. During this advertisement people are used and that person would be a women drinking a coco cola. This background doesn't take place anywhere but i would say getting a drink from a hard day. This advertisement is telling us to try one and you judge by the outside but what's inside.

Typography

Throughout this advertisement there was a lot of typography used. For example the first font would be the words going threw her lips. I would describe this font being bold words size 20 or smaller. Underneath the coco cola the font used would be Times Roman. Yes this picture it shows emphasize in the words and how it displayed the tone of color and the shade. In this ad you see the type of formatting displayed.

Tone

How i describe the feeling of this ad is the taste of the coco cola . How i would describe it is friendly ad getting at the readers. This is the ad for all kinds of people who want give coco cola a try. In this ad their is an emphasis it's between the women and the coco cola she's drinking. What i mean is the women drinking it is blurred out but not that much. The coco cola it's self and the coco cola sign out stand from the picture by it's bright colors and the bright red it shows and the dark brown.

                                        

   

 What the video was about how a 12 year old  creates the app by his parents help.How the video relates to me and to the class is how a 12 yr old can achieve and so can we. This is how the video relates to me. What a good reflection of self discipline would be the boy. Why i say this is because he has overcome he challenge into putting his app in the iPhone and many technology out there. I think what the boy did is he Passion for computers why i say this is because anyone can do it but after a while will get tried. By this boy liking computers he made a app that is now in the Apple store. What makes it easy this class is we learn by visual. This is what i think that by seeing Mrs. Ramirez demonstrating it .

Marlene Logo

What my logo is representing is an ice cream shop. How i improved my logo is adding more color to it. The elements i used was color, how i used color was using different colors so my logo can outside other logo out their. Color plays an important element in my logo because it didn't have enough color. This is the element i used. I also used emphasis how i used in this picture is in the words. How it represent in the words is how i used rare colors. By seeing the rare colors you'll want to read the logo and find out what it is.

lab5 printing marks

The difference between all of these printing marks is what they could do to a picture. For example like center crop marks what the definition is when lines around the picture are bring trimmed. What corner crop  marks mean is it outlines where the page is suppose to be trimmed where the star targets.. What calibration bar is when  there is a separation of colors. Registration Marks is when it marks on the image separating the aligning color. Description is an option when pressed in the text entered dialog box. What a label is when it prints the image.

Lab 3

What  I had  observed from the picture is that this picture has emphasis. The emphasis it has is when you look at city you see the city. The background of the photo is blurred out like the ocean and  the sky. What this picture also includes is arrangement. The arrangement it has is they could have taken this picture from and higher point of view. The view this picture has is landscape view of the city. What makes it a tone is the color the sky providing like a purple color. And the city which gave bright lights.
